Saturday Katelynn and I headed to the Mountain early to beat the heat. I guess everyone else had the same idea as the trail was packed. The trail was dusty and rocky as expected. I stopped frequently to snag a shot (or that was my excuse to catch my breath). This mountain showed me just how out of shape I am, especially in the days to follow with sore calves. The hike was so worth the effort though. The view from the top was an incredible 360 view that encompassed downtown San Diego, Mexico, and Orange County. Can't wait to do it again!
