It had been rained for over a week straight. I was watching the weather very closely hoping it would hold off long enough to do a session with the McDowell family. Even as I drove to Richmond it continued to pour however, I trusted my weather app was correct and the rain would stop and hour or so before I was to start shooting. Thankfully the rain did stop, the location was not flooded, and I was able to capture this beautiful family!
